Still Figuring Things Out

As I've said before, I'm still trying to figure out what I'm doing with my life. I've got a lot of it figured out.. I moved from upstate New York to Grand Rapids, Michigan when I was 22 because I thought I was at the age where I could just do random things like that. Grand Rapids was a big(ger) city and I was bored of my little town where I had known the same people since the first grade.. which is weird because that's one of the main reasons why I miss it so much now.

Three years had gone by and I had met some amazing people & did some amazing things that I would've never done if I stayed back home but was so home sick I was about to throw in the towel when one day I'm sipping on a cocktail at a Boyz II Men concert in what was supposed to be my last summer in Michigan & I see this gorgeous man standing in line at the beer tent. I grab my girlfriend and we go strike up a little convo with him and his friend. It was a hot day and the vodka/water's were tasting really yummy I guess because when said gorgeous man turned around to order me a beer, I decided to grab his butt. Now for people that know me, I would never ever do something like that! I didn't even use just one hand.. yup, I used both.

Wellllll.. I guess it was love at first inappropriate groping because we immediately started dating and moved in together a month after. So when I say I have a lot of my life figured out, I mean that I'm going to marry that boy someday.. which means living in Michigan probably forever. Now I just need to figure out what the heck I want to be when I grow up!

At least we get to tell our kids we met at a Boyz II Men concert.. I think I'll leave out the butt grab for at least a little while. Welp, now I'm off to go get people drunk like because it's my job..

    1. I seriously hope that you do so that I'm not the only one with that classy of a "how we met" story! Can't wait for that little gem to somehow be worked into my maid of honor's speech.
